Raven-Symon Isn't Buying Diddy's Recent Apology Video

Celebrities continue to weigh in on Diddys recent apology video following released 2016 footage of him abusing Cassie in a hotel hallway. The latest commentary comes from Raven-Symon, who believes the music mogul has only apologized because he got caught and his money is about to deplete.

Celebrities continue to weigh in on Diddy‘s recent apology video following released 2016 footage of him abusing Cassie in a hotel hallway. The latest commentary comes from Raven-Symoné, who believes the music mogul has only apologized because “he got caught” and “his money is about to deplete.”

In the latest episode of The Best Podcast Ever with Raven and Miranda, Symoné recalled the industry being silent about Diddy’s long-time “shenanigans,” which she believes are now windows that people are “starting to see in.”

“His apology video… I think he’s distraught because he knows that his money is about to deplete,” she asserted. “He’s apologetic… I think he’s sorry that he got caught. He can sit up there naked as a jay bird and write ‘I apologize’ all over his thing, and we’re always going to say that is not enough because you shouldn’t have done it in the first place.”

Raven Symoné says there have always been rumors in the industry about Diddy's shenanigans as she reacts to Diddy's apology video after he was caught on video beating Cassie.

The That’s So Raven star also suggested that Diddy give Cassie all the rights to her music, if he hasn’t already.

Symoné’s sentiments follow Diddy’s public apology after his horrendous behavior was put on display for the world to see. Trying his best to exude remorse, he called his behavior “inexcusable,” and “disgusting.”

“I take full responsibility for my actions in that video,” he said in an Instagram clip. “I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help. I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace.”

Unable to say Cassie’s name for legal reasons, he added, “I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to being a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”

Cassie’s legal team also issued a statement following his video, which they called “disingenuous.”

“Combs’ most recent statement is more about himself than the many people he has hurt,” legal rep Meredith Firetog stated. “When Cassie and multiple other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested that his victims were looking for a payday. That he was only compelled to ‘apologize’ once his repeated denials were proven false shows his pathetic desperation, and no one will be swayed by his disingenuous words.”
