Lorde has jumped to buddy Taylor Swift's defense after Katy Perry's boyfriend Diplo initiated a kickstarter to get the 1989 hitmaker "a booty."
As Us Weekly previously reported, Diplo put out his tweet ("someone should make a kickstarter to get taylor swift a booty") and then retweeted a load of fan responses including "@diplo I started a petition on http://whitehouse.gov to include it on the federal budget," and "@diplo Help Me In Supporting 'Get Taylor Swift A Booty' on #fundly." He included a link to the actual Fundly page, which raised $45.
Diplo's shade presumably stems from Swift and girlfriend Perry's bad blood — literally. After the 1989 singer told Rolling Stone that she'd written track "Bad Blood" about her rivalry with a fellow female artist, Us confirmed the artist was Perry.
But Swift's celebrity pal Lorde didn't think much of Diplo's diss and decided to take on the DJ and rapper herself, in a bid to stand up for her friend.

The singer-songwriter tweeted Diplo a message on Thursday, Nov. 13, saying "Should we do something about your tiny penis while we're at it hm."
Lorde's feisty message has already received over 11,000 retweets since the early hours of this morning.
Turns out Diplo and Lorde aren't strangers — the DJ remixed Lorde's track "Tennis Court" for the new The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 movie.
